Colleen Medeiros

Transportation Program Manager, Cape Cod Commission

Colleen Medeiros has over 15 years of transportation engineering and planning experience in both the public and private sector. Her background includes managing detailed traffic analyses, safety reviews, conceptual multi-modal design and public outreach. Ms. Medeiros has been on staff at the Cape Cod Commission for over 4 years, serving as Transportation Engineer prior to taking on the role of Transportation Program Manager in January 2022. Colleen oversees a multi-disciplinary team that that works to promote a safe, reliable, and multi-modal transportation system for Cape Cod. Colleen has led a number of initiatives, on behalf of the Cape Cod Metropolitan Planning Organization including the development of the Cape Cod Regional Transportation Plan, the Transportation Improvement Plan, major corridors studies, a wide range of transportation safety studies and public outreach activities. A registered professional engineer, Colleen provides technical assistance to Cape Cod municipalities looking to tackle region and local transportation challenges in a way that is compatible with community character. Colleen received a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
