DESCRIPTION

See firsthand the renovations underway to restore and convert the Old Harwich Firehouse with community space, affordable workforce housing apartments, and land conservation. The restoration initiative, led by Harwich Fire Association and Harwich Conservation Trust, aims to bring new life to this historic building. Visitors on the tour will learn about the firehouse’s rich history, its role in the community over nearly a century, and the innovative ways it will continue to serve Harwich through environmental stewardship and affordable living spaces, along with the restoration of the Robert F. Smith Cold Brook Preserve.
