Session Description:

One of the key regional recommendations of the Regional Housing Strategy is establishing a housing land bank and a community land trust to facilitate swifter acquisition, management, development and redevelopment of properties to advance attainable and affordable housing. This session will include a brief overview of what community land trusts and land banks for housing are, a summary and update of ongoing work to potentially establish these entities on Cape Cod, and examples of these entities and their successes from elsewhere in the Commonwealth.
